Chinese mobile hospital handed over to NA

Dhulikhel : A mobile hospital run by China for the emergency treatment of quake victims at Dhulikhel has been handed over to Nepal Army today.

Visiting Assistant Foreign Minister of China Liu Jianchao handed over the management of the hospital to Pradip Bikram Rana, Chief of General Staff of NA, amid a function. The hospital was equipped with x-ray, ultrasound machines and operational equipments as well. The hospital was set up in coordination with Dhulikhel hospital on April 27, two days after the massive earthquake.
The hospital had provided treatment to 301 quake injured people by admitting them in the hospital. The hospital had 60 specialist doctors’ team.
Similarly, NA Major General Dr Kishor Jung Rana praised the Chinese doctors’ team for their effective service to the quake victims.
On the occasion, Chinese ambassador to Nepal Wu Chuntai said that the hospital effectively provided the services to the quake victims. RSS
