MORANG, JUN 16 - Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Loktantrik (MJF-L) Chairman Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar said the Upendra Yadav has made a grave mistake by removing word ‘Madhes’ from the name of his new party.
Gachhadar opined that Yadav has lost an important jewel of his political career in Madhes. He alleged that Yadav has lost the moral ground to continue his Madhes politics.
“Yadav, who joined the politics by riding on the back of Madhes issues, has now lost his political right after he removed the word Madhes from his new party,” said Chairman Gachhadar while talking to journalists in Biratnagar on Tuesday. “Since Upendra Yadav has relinquished the words ‘Madhes’ and ‘Janadhikar’, he doesn’t have the moral ground to voice for the identity-based Madhes state.”
Gachhadar said Yadav has no rationale to talk about Madhes, Madhesi and Madhes state after his unification with Sanghiya Samajwadi Party.
When asked that Yadav’s party has surpassed the size of his party in the Constituent Assembly, Gachhadar said, “If somebody boasts the size of his party with just 15 lawmakers, I can increase my lawmakers to 25 from 14.”
Gachhadar claimed that Yadav under no circumstances can outshine him in Madhes politics. The political tussle between Gachhadar and Yadav has been on limelight in Madhesi politics.
